5 Things To Know Before Using CBD Vape Juice

CBD had been around for a long time and even used in medicine as well for other purposes. This was all before the popularity it received as modern science or hold of this nature’s gift. At first, the most popular form of CBD you could get on the market was an oral tincture. However, in today’s CBD market, there are varieties of choices. One of the popular choices is vaping, and with its popularity, you get to hear all sorts of questions, and because they deserve to be answered, we have compiled answers for as many of them here.

  • What Is CBD?

Starting with the basic CBD. CBD is short for cannabidiol and it is a naturally occurring cannabinoid that is found in the cannabis plant. It is widely known for its therapeutic properties, some of which include:

  • Pain relief
  • Anti-inflammation
  • Anti-anxiety
  • Seizure and epilepsy treatment

In addition to these, CBD has also proven to have antioxidant properties however, more research is still required in this field. We have already mentioned that it is available in a variety of forms. Other than tinctures and vaping products, other forms include capsules, powders, etc.5 Things To Know Before Using CBD Vape Juice

  • What Is CBD Oil?

CBD oil, just like tinctures, is designed to be used orally. They are made by extracting CBD from the hemp plant using either CO2 or alcohol extraction. The extract is then diluted with a carrier oil like olive, hempseed, or coconut making it able to be absorbed easily and digested. In most cases, other ingredients can be added to give the oil a welcoming flavor since most CBD users do not fancy the earthy taste of pure CBD.

  • Is There A Difference Between CBD Oil and CBD Vape Juice?

CBD oils are often mistaken for CBD vape juice, and this is because many of them are sold in regular ejuice-style dropper bottles, and they do not have proper warning labels. The most important distinction is in their formulation. Whereas CBD oil is oil-based, CBD vape juice is not. Rather, it contains propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), CBD extract, terpenes, and cannabinoids, making it suitable for inhalation.

Before going ahead to buy CBD for vaping, make sure the label says something about vaping, vape juice, or ejuice, and most importantly, it should not contain any actual oil.

  • Can Vaping CBD Get You High?

This question is not out of the ordinary, after all, CBD is gotten from cannabis, a plant associated with the ‘high’. However, that is not the case. CBD is a non-psychoactive compound meaning it cannot get you high. On the other hand, what is responsible for the ‘high’ that is usually associated with cannabis is THC or tetrahydrocannabinol. In CBD vape oils, the THC content is kept to a minimum of 0.3% which is so minute, it cannot possibly even give you traces of the ‘high’ feeling.

Another thing is that CBD can moderate the high that THC produces by preventing your body from fully breaking down the THC content. So, if you ever find yourself feeling ‘too high’, CBD can help to reduce the effects.

  • What Is The Ideal Dosage?

There is no ideal dosage when it comes to CBD. This is because its effects greatly depend on factors that differ from one person to another. Some of these factors include the symptom being treated, body weight, tolerance, body metabolism, etc. As a result of these differences, CBD tends to yield unique results for each person. The best way to get started is to start low and slowly work your way up. You can start with 1 to 2mg of CBD and monitor how you feel for about six hours before taking your next dose. From here, gradually increase your dose each time by 5mg making sure to monitor the effects. Once you begin to experience positive effects, dial in that dosage as you own ‘ideal’ dosage.
